Brad and I grew up together in Texas City. A few years ago we found ourselves back on the same block. With my previous wellness journey and Brad beginning his, our conversations always led to fitness and nutrition. Brad started his journey making the same Chili recipe you can find in my cooking video, along with bowls for meal prepping!
Brad went to the gym consistently 5-6 days per week, week after week! He began to try new variations of workouts like kickboxing. He met a handful of people around his gym to learn from. He’s hired personal trainer’s, nutritionists, and massage therapists. He has a family and a full time job which he travels for.
Week after week he has put in the work and prepared his food! When obstacles in life arose, he maintained until it was once again time to push forward! His will power and determination have gotten him to where he’s at. Brad is very good at absorbing information from those around and deciding what works for himself!

I am proud of you for all of the goals you have achieved through fitness and nutrition! I have spoken to over 100 people interested in how I lost fat. You are 1 of 3 people to apply the lifestyle! It’s always good catching up with you and talking about the new things we have learned each month! It is good to know that we are always looking to help and improve each other! Terry is my close friend. I lived with him and his wife Marsha for the past 3 years. Marsha lost her vision entirely in 2006 and Terry has been there for her every day since. With Marsha needing constant care and attention, the focus always shifted away from Terry’s health.
One year ago, Terry found himself putting on fat and confined to his recliner more and more. His muscular pain increased, his blood pressure wasn’t as stable, and he had trouble breathing while walking moderate distances. He couldn’t walk around our block.
Terry has lost 35 lbs in 12 months. 271 to 236.
Here’s what he did!
Avoided Sweets but didn’t cut them entirely. Started eating more fruit to curb sugar cravings. Eats mostly at home to guarantee he is ingesting quality oils, Avo and Evo. He eats grass fed steaks, grass fed ground beef, breaded chicken, pork chops, salmon, eggs, rice, potatoes, carrots, and wheat bread.
He gained a basic understanding of how macronutrients work and how to calculate them. Understanding creates some accountability. He counts daily steps through his apple watch. He creates accountability by having goals.
Terry created awareness for the food going into his body. He held himself accountable to get out of the chair and move! It was work and he had will power!

I am proud of you man! Your hard work and drive to keep going is unmatched! It’s rare to see this type of goal accomplished at your age. Many people just give up. I look forward to our walks and seeing the fat loss continue to accumulate 2-3 lbs per month! Thank you for all you have done for Marsha and all you have done for myself!
